Nominated in the UK-based New Uncovered Artist of the year category of the 2017 Ghana Music Awards UK for their ‘Ex-Girl’ song; Lippy and K-Hi Bangit have released the visuals for it. The video was directed by Tekko.

The song, ‘Ex-Girl’ even though can be described as Afro beat, comes with the unusual 808 drum it rhythm, fused with some rock instruments and percussion giving it a refreshing twist. The instrumentation was mainly produced by K-Hi Bangit and co-produced and created by Lippy.

The two met at Mark view & PM Entertainment Studio in London; where Lippy and K-Hi Bangit among other musicians at the studio were listening and sharing thoughts on beats when the conversation took a personal experience-sharing turn after one of the musicians complained about an ex-girlfriend who had been stalking them respectively.

“And when the subject of ex-girlfriend’s came up, we all shared our diverse experiences and that motivated the just released single, ‘ex-girl’ and we depicted how stalking former partners can be and have been a pain in the neck, one way or the other,” Lippy lamented.

Formerly known as Righteous P; Ghanaian born, Justice K K Daniels, now Lippy moved to London as a teen and took a keen interest in music. He studied sound engineering and has since been heavily involved in rapping, writing and producing for a range of different music styles.

Aside being a sound engineer, and a musician, who raps and writes songs for himself and other musicians in the Hip-hop, R&B, Pop, and Afro-Pop genres; Lippy as an actor has featured in movies / series including The Bill – UK police drama, Side Winders – Series on SKY T.V. He absolutely loves everything that he does or himself as well as other musicians.

Musically known as K-Hi Bangit (Kofi-High Bangit), Kofi Agyare Benjamin's music life began while he was mainly a drummer with a traditional drumming and dancing troupe. He is very familiar with traditional instruments created in Ghana and some parts of Africa. He has also played with some individual bands that played for artists like Efya, Sammie B, Okomfuo Kwadie, Stonebwoy, and Kofi B, among others.

Kindly vote for Lippy and K-Hi Bangit to win the UK-based New Uncovered Artist of the year category: www.theghanamusicawardsuk.com/vote/index.php/247454
