Led to give evidence by Director for Public Prosecution, Yvonne Atakora Obuobisa, Mrs. Asafu-Adjei told the court as head of the NCA's legal division, she is responsible for the drafting of contractual documents and also has custody over them.

When handed the contract document in court she denied knowledge explaining, she only came across it when the investigator handling the case came to her office and handed the document to her.

She added that she conducted checks in her department and did not find a copy of the document in her custody.

Mrs. Asafu-Adjei said a cursory look at the document revealed it had been signed by former Director General of NCA, William Tevie, who is also before the court.
